Well had a solo boar in a perfect stalk wind shifted and he took off so I hit him with the 243. Sorry I cheated but they need to die. I thought it was all over but on my way back to the truck I saw about 40 in a coastal field. I think I'll score with the bow this time. Here we go!!!

Well i had 4 bullets and a single shot 243 I got 3 gut shot pigs and I skinned a little pig that turned and came back to me when momma started squealing. Wasn't much of a bowhunting morning but pigs did die and that's always a good thing.

The big group of pigs messed up because they showed me what they do on a normal basis. I got to them but it was only about 10 out feeding. The outhers were bedded in a dry creek. I have got on them the last 5 or 6 times in the same spot. When I get back from work next week I'm gonna put a stand in the creek and it will be a bad day when they come back to take a nap.
