Ditto! I still have not made this shoot yet but really want to.

I wonder if James Hicks made it up there and shot his selfbow today?

      Congrats to all the winners!

Shiloh won the shoot off in Self Bow. He also shot the highest score with a 116. I would have bet $100 that no one could shoot 116 on that course. He is one awesome shot. I watched him warming up for the shoot off and he was putting the arrows in a wad in the target while holding his cell phone on his shoulder and talking to someone at the same time. Unbelievable!!!
Danny Jarmon got 5th in the shoot off.
I do not remember the names of the guys who got 2,3, & 4 in the shoot off. I did not know any of them.
This was the hardest shoot I have every attended. Missed 8 targets, broke 3 arrows and sent one swimming in the duck pond. My self bow broke and I had to just shoot a fun round with my glass bow, so my score did not count anyway. I shot 70, Glen Bryant shot 92, Charles Alexander shot 74. I don't remember any of the other scores.

No offense to anyone else that's put on a shoot but that was one of the funnest shoots I've been to. Had good company that pushed me to do well but I thought the course was great. The duck was a new experience for me and the carp under the road is deffinately a shot I don't practice. I really liked the opossum shot and I was expecting more trash than there was. Only had 2 drops but managed to find a few trees along the way, 94 was acceptable for me. I'll deffinately be back next year, might just rent a cabin on the lake. I think the large ammount of vendors was worth the trip by itself.

Shiloh is what, maybe 24, so all of you guys at the top can only hope for a couple of things to happen to keep him from spankin' you on a regular basis:
                1. He gets married, has five kids and has to start working week-ends.
                2. He takes a job in Alaska

Otherwise, you are gonna have him to contend with for the rest of your lives.

He is in a class by himself!

                Congratulations, Shiloh!

Is shiloh that old? I remember when he started shooting in the men's class and it don't seem like its been that long ago..

I love that shoot. Very challenging, great vendors, and good to reunite with old pals. And its only 5 miles from my house so I can go home and take a nap and come back in the evening and shoot some more!

Yep, this was a really fun shoot. It would have been better at about 75*F, but it was not that bad on Sunday. It was hotter than the haze of h-well you know-- on Saturday.
Pavilion had misters and Port-A-Cool fans all over it, so it was pleasant enough.
Note to self--bring lawn chairs next year!!
