string making length

Hi all,

I purchased some B50 and want to make a string for my 66" AMO recurve.

Now from what I understand I need to put my 2 point at 62" Is that correct?

I make my recurve strings 4 inches shorter than amo and my longbow strings 3 inches shorter than amo

Curious as to what you use as a jig. I've got the bare minimum. 2x4 and nails.

66 inch recurve takes a 62 inch string. If your using a string making board just set your peg in the AMO 66 inch mark and the string will come out at 62 inches.

I use the 3riversarchery string jig it's pretty fool proof
