    Increasing point weight

... With HIT inserts. I'm shooting Easton Axis-n-fused 500's. As y'all may know the inserts are farther in the shafts than a normal insert, so how would I increase tip weight without actually increasing tip weight? Lol. I mean as in are there any kind of screw on weights I can use that would fit these inserts. I would like to have about 200 grains up front and can't find any broadheads that weigh that much that I can afford.

Sorry if it's confusing if I need to clarify let me know! Thanks!

Easton make 50/75 grain inserts.. 25 grain breakoff

      Muzzy offers a 100grain insert

There are also brass glue on/ glue in adapters available in 9/32" that fit hit arrows

All available through 3 rivers and I believe kustomking.

The inserts are at my old shop if you make it through the area.

Also if you get beman classics they come with the 50/75 brass inserts

I am not aware of any weights that fit the standard inserts though.. which means you'll have to thread the needle with temperature to get those inserts out without damaging your arrow.... I would try to bump up your fieldpoint/bh weight first.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looking on 3 rivers website I found some 175 gr heads that I actually think will work!

There are lots of cheap broadheads in the 200 gr range. Check out Ace, Simmons, Magnus (thunder valley), Zwickey, or Steel Force
