Be careful with your pretty arrows

Check out this thread on the new Diller target in Tenn.
So I had this idea to draw, and have cut from aluminum plate this Armadillo target. Planned about 18" tall, with a 7" hole in it. The thought to have this for AL to add to his collection of fun things to throw arrows at in Hogan's Alley, at the June 30 shoot. Well, my waterjet cut guy...

That's great! I say make it a long range target - that hole would not look so big at 60 yards..

We got the same thing except it's a javelina! And Georgetown has the bionic buck!

That is a lot bigger than the one at Cowtown.

Love them targets!!!! Shot one years ago that was a dragon.. Now I really don't know where the heart is on a dragon as I haven't had the opportunity or offer to go on a hunt for one. Needless to say many. many arrows gave all and lost in the end!

Just plain fun - expensive but, fun!

That one has the biggest hole I've ever seen on a metal target. that would be a thirty yard minimum.

Cut a 42" diamete piece of al. with an 18" hole in the center and bolt it onto the outside of the existing hole. That way, you can have either a 36" hole or 18" hole to shoot.
