He is growing up
Over the past five years, I have had the pleasure of watching this young man grow up into a handsome fellow who truly evokes the word gentleman.
One of my fondest memory was seeing Cody harvest his first Rio Grande with his traditional equipment at the age of 13. That experience will definitely be a highlight in my life. I recall the excitement in the blind after the incredible shot, the high five and the dance in the blind. Then we realized the thunder chickens are still in front of us so we decide it is my turn to kill one. I shoot one and it goes down. The celebration begins again until my thunder chicken gets up and takes off running. My shot was not a perfect 12
even at the age of 13 he could already out shoot me!
I certainly Thank God for placing Cody and his parents in my life. Prom this weekend and Graduation next week. Congrats Cody, I am proud of you!
