New Sweptwing has arrived

Last night Rick brought me my new bow. As many of you know, I am all about performance. I generally could care less what a bow looks like as long as it shoots well. I just told Rick that I wanted it to blend well when hunting, but otherwise he had free range to do as he pleased.

Not that I am surprised, but the bow is absolutely beautiful. These pics do not do it justice. I will try and get some better pics this weekend while I am at the lease.

The riser is ebony and walnut with some bird’s eye maple in the cap. The limbs are bird’s eye maple and walnut with bird’s eye maple in the limb tips.

Hopefully I will have an LDP with this bow in the coming weeks.

Boy that bow looks sweet and I like the looks of those limbs. Rick sure is building some fancy looking bows these days. I sure have missed the old days when we shot together, I think we my have to hook up this year at some of the trad shoots and see if I can still keep up with you. Shoot me an email sometime after the season and let’s see if we can make it to a shoot sometime.

Lefty, I have missed the competition as well. Right now I am shooting an indoor spot league to force me to practice. I can’t stand shooting indoors and really dislike shooting spots (mostly because I am no good at it), but hopefully the tournament like atmosphere will help me out this year in 3-d.

Bug Scuffle is not closing shop. Talked to Brian not too long ago. I guess Rick was bring you your bow yesterday when I went by his house. I really need to ask him about mine. I dont care what it is as long as I get one! If I could pull 70lbs I would use it on my moose hunt in'08
