I remember reading about pass around bows. My question is exactly how this works. More to the point, do people donate money to have a bow built, and then get their turn to use it?
The reason I bring this up is because I remember people talking about the need for a right and left hand bow.
Well it just hit me that Wapiti makes such a bow. Keith Chastain is a friend of mine, that has built several bows for me. They are great shooters.
But not only does he make a right and left hand long bow, he also makes a bow with dual weight options. For example, Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear has a long bow that is a 60# and 52#, depending on how it is strung.
I was just wondering if Keith could make a right/left hand bow, with the dual weight option, that way EVERYONE who wanted to, could participate.
What do you guys think. I could call Keith if you guys think this would be a good idea.
