    In the last few days...

I have discovered that I really, really like NOT shooting a compound, especially when I don't like the draw, and I don't have 60lbs jerking me forward to let down my string.

I have discovered that I shoot better with a glove.

I have discovered that I prefer shooting three fingers under. I tried the split finger method, and I lost an arrow for 45min.

I figured out that I may have a very strange form. At least, that is what my untrained preconceived notions tell me. I'm working on it.

I have discovered that I do pretty well at 10-15 yards, and I am pretty consistent with my grouping.

I have realized that I cant the bow pretty far and lean into it when looking down the shaft to aim, which seems completely strange to me, given the straight up and down nature of the compound. Still don't know if that is right, but it will have to do until I find people to shoot with or have someone look at my form. Thinking about posting vids for yall to critique me.

I have discovered that the Samick Sage will not last very much longer for me, and I am already contemplating (scheming) ways to obtain a better bow. Something a little more "custom."

I have been slowly inching the compound toward the closet to gather dust.

Thanks everyone for the help in getting me started.

                  Enjoy my friend...

Guess what? I've been doing this traditional a couple of years and yesterday I shot 3 under, split finger, tab, glove, different anchor points all trying to achieve good back tension. It's a personal thing and it is like a never ending puzzle. Have fun...

Jeffro, if you have a copy of that book hang on to it. They are going for $160 on the net.

Sell the wheels to finance another bow.
