Homemade Bow Shooting Machine Demonstration

The video is a touch over 12 minutes.
Sorry for the length, but I probably still left out some detail.
Enjoy.

My first compound wasn't that fast.

My old Martin Firecat was faster (by a lot).
But, it was around 100# draw with only a 605 grain arrow.

I shot an old Bear WT2. 2117 full length arrows, no idea the weight. But I shot it through a chrono once and I believe it was under 220. But that was 30 plus years ago. Pretty sure I was sober though.

Many of those old recurves with arrows between 5 - 6 GPP would make your eyes bug out when you saw the speed they shot.
Only thing was finding one that could take the beating, and keep on ticking.

I'm going to have to make a correction on the speed of this bow.
I didn't realize it at the time, but I had drawn the bow to 31.5" instead of 30.5".
Did a 3 shot test today, and that's when I caught my mistake.
at 30.5 she was 217/217/215.

That's good though, seeing how that inch makes that much difference.
