Single Bevel vs. double bevel

What is the advantage if any of Single Bevel over Double bevel heads?

The single bevel is supposed to break bone better and get better penetration. There are quite a few studies to show that to be true. They also make an open "S" hole on exit causing better blood trails. I'm still shooting Black Diamond Delta 4 blades that I purchased in the 60's and 70's. Always had great blood trails with them.

I think for anything I'll get to shoot in Texas a good heavy 3 blade would be good, will experiment with Abowyer cause I have a few.
