I'm sure this is nothing new to a lot of you, but while shooting my daily broadhead shots the other day, I suddenly lost my tune. One day, I was serving up 10 and 12 rings from twenty yards with my hunting arrows, and the next, I was shooting almost off the target. Being an observant chap, I checked the string, brace height, silencer position, tab, etc. and decided the system was the same, so obviously it was a loose nut in the operator.
Used to be an issue like this would take me a week to sort out, but now I paper tune, and it's really helpful for diagnosing stuff like this. Within 20 shots in my garage I'd realized I wasn't heeling into the grip properly, and that was the source of my problem. Now I'm back on target and confident for the season. Moral of this story, is how you push through the bow affects how the arrow reacts. Sometimes quite dramatically.
