    Axis back quiver

I wanted a back quiver, but rather than buy one I found a leather stitching kit on Amazon for $10. Add an axis hide that the skinner messed up and I’m pretty happy with the first try.

That’s pretty dang cool. Anything made from an axis is just beautiful.

Bad @$$! You should post a step-by-step in the DIY Forum.

Wow how awesome, so did you put something like a tube or something to protect hide from broadheads?

              freaking inspiring

I didn’t add a tube, but I put an extra layer of hide at the bottom. I’m using old grizzly single bevels which don’t have the sharpest tips, so hopefully that’ll be enough.

Just find some of the more stout packing foam blocks and cut a piece for the bottom. It will protect it and maybe help keep them from clattering while on the move.

A piece of carpet would also work to prevent the broad heads to punch through the hide.
The soft hide will likely collapse some and keep the shafts from rattling too much.
