What type of rest are you shooting?

I've been using the soft side of Velcro on the shelf for my whole Trad existence. Is there something else out there better and why?

I use moleskin... It looks like sin, but it's thinner than velcro, softer, and quieter.

      Bear Hair rest and plate.

One day, I will cut out some Indian Head plates for my Indian Mohawk.

Velcro, leather, feather rest, or Bear Weather rest. I can't tell much of a difference.

I use a calf hair shelf and side plate . It's very thin, works well. I like my shelf cut past center. Why waste space with something thicker?

To stack it higher for more clearance to facilitate string walking like MrDeadeyeBarbee.

            As opposed to velcro hook…
            Velcro pile over here MrSlayer.
It changes my tune over time (if not changed out regularly) and quite quickly if super improperly tuned arrows… which like most rests will tell a tale of tune.

I want to see that indian head in play MrRanch Im curious how that lays out.
            .
            Yee. Haw.

Stuff wearing out just gives you something to do when it's too hot to shoot.

I use the little leather piece that comes standard on all Bob Lee bows. You can purchase them from Bob Lee Bows. I have never had one wear out.
