Just discovered a new way to practice

I realize there may be many of you that have done this for many years but for some reason it just hit me this afternoon. Tennis balls and those heads with the wire/spring things.
I chased that ball all over my little 2ac place. Then I started rolling it up a little hill and shot at it as it rolled down the hill like shootin at rabbits.
Man what fun. I hit it rolling about 4 times out of maybe 50 attempts but was just an inch off many many times.

I think your talking about Judo points Kirby. I own lots of them and shoot nothing but after hunting season starts.

I'll keep this in mine for practicing. It is all new to me, but thanks to Kirby going to the bow shop with me the other day, I am ready.

Google YONONINDO's video about his "favorite stumpin arrows" and check out what he makes/uses. Pretty cool stuff.

I might try that after I get some flu flu's made up. I dont want my arrows ending up in the neighbors yard

Jeff you start shooting tennis balls with that Z7 you better have some judo's and I'll add a few feathers to your arrows to keep them from ending up at the other end of the neighborhood. And glad I could help buddy, more of that to come before next season

I had a judo bounce off of a tennis ball and over my fence. I now use plastic golf balls.

Don't shoot tennis balls with wooden arrows/field points! I had a brand new dozen woodies a couple years ago and got the bright idea to shoot tennis balls with them. Everything was fine as long as I hit them pretty much in the center, but when I hit them toward the edge it would break the arrow just above the point. I guess the ball would start to spin toward the side where the arrow was in the process of penetrating and the spinning ball would snap the arrow shaft.
After breaking a few of them (you'd think I would've learned sooner) I decided that might not be a good idea.
