With longbows your looking at a string that is 3 inches shorter than the bow itself. So you need a 65 in. String.

That's different on every bow, I'd get you a 65" string and go from there tune the noise out

with a 65" string the bow has a 4" brace height. isnt that too low?

ok, i need help!!! do i need a shorter string? or am i tillering it wrong? it has a nice smooth bend in it with a stiff handle. not sure what to do at this point.

Unless it's a bendy, don't you want the handle stiff, at that length, I would.

Is it 68 overall or from string groove to string groove? What kind of handle did you make for it? Did you make a working handle?
