A Great Holiday Weekend For Us

Allison, my dog and I had a great weekend at the lease. It all started Friday when Allison made the recovery on a 11 point buck that AgTx brother Matt had arrowed.

I shot a nice gobbler.



Then Allison recovered a little buck that Taylor arrowed. This made this little girl very happy.




To wind up a great weekend. I shot this 8 with my new BlueRidge SR that I received on Wednesday. The bow is a 60", 52@28 and shooting Trad 400 arrows with 100 grain brass inserts and a Woodsman Elite 175 grain BH.The buck weighed 150 pounds on the hoof, less some body fluids

Matt, she was a year old on November 7th. She is half Lab and half Black Mouth Cur. Not a big dog, maybe 50 pounds, but she can run forever. LOL
