I am looking to see if anyone has an Apache longbow (RH) in the San Antonio area that they would let me shoot. I would like to just shoot one a few times before I order one. I have heard good things, but you never know about these traditional guys on the internet. ha ha. Brett

I do not live in San Antonio, but I do have an Apache longbow.
I really like mine alot It is a really smooth drawing bow it is
66" 50@28. I bought mine second hand and he did a little
touch up on it for free. He is a really nice guy, I hope to buy
a new one from him when I get my son out of college.
I don't think you can go wrong buying A bow from Roy Hall.

I grew up in Henderson and I have known Roy Hall since he owned his archery shop 13 years ago. He is the finest craftsman I have ever met. His finish is flawless and he doesn't send out a bow that is not perfect. He is definitely a perfectionist. I bought a Caddo and shot in the local traditional archery league and the archery shop where I shoot immediately ordered 6 of his bows and sold all of them within 2 weeks. Now, half the people I shoot with have one.
I'm just saying "you can't go wrong" with on of his bows.

I have 2 of his bows:
47# Caddo swirling Maple
53# Caddo sycamore - custom
I have a target set up in my back yard if you want to shoot them. I have been hunting some 5 years with them with allot of success.
I live near Bass Pro Shop in the Dominion if you want to come over. I have an acre backyard and 12 acres behind me, so shooting in there is not a problem.
