Man I shot ALL day at work wed. Probably over 200 arrows. I haven't ever done this since going to trad gear and man I can barely move my right shoulder today. Oh well headed to Childress to shoot something. Everyone have a good weekend. I'll have LDps when I get back.

Hope your shoulder gets better. I shoot 100-200 shots in a day a lot and it does not bother me but I've been at this for a while.
Good luck this weekend.

I keep hearing conflicting advice on the amount of arrows one should shoot for practice. Most of the books I read say not to shoot too much because mental and physical exhaustion set in, causing form to go bad, resulting in the development of bad habits that become hard to break later on. So which is it? Lots of arrow shooting? Less arrow shooting but more form-type practice? Or lots of both? Or less of both?

Shoot as much as you feel like, but stop when you get to that point of fatigue, and/or lack of focus.
You'll know when you reach that point, so be honest with yourself about it.
Don't practice if it's bad practice. If you're doing good, and are on a roll, keep at it as long as you feel good about it.
