    adjusting brace height??

just curious if you adjust from the top limb all the time or bottom limb all the time??? Or both?? Or does it matter??

I was just thinking that if i twist the top all the time will it move my knock up?? or vise versa with the bottom?? im just getting my bow broke in and i keep having to adjust the brace height and i was just wondering if adjusting it would move my knocking point up and down???

    Don't worry about it.
The twist will equalize across the length as soon as you string the bow up.

Since I have a string keeper/limb tip protector on my bottom limb, I always adjust at the top.

JT, I was wondering the same thing -I'm glad you are asking all these questions so I don't have to.

The only time I twist from each end is in the initial construction of a string, and even then it really don't matter, but I am a.n.a.l, and have OCD, so I want to make sure my initial twist up is even.

Once the initial twist is set, the string will twist equally from then on out when it is placed under tension.

I always just twist the bottom. It's a habit.

I do the top only because my stringer has a pocket on the bottom and I don,t want to mess with it to remove the string. Yeah, call me lazy, lol

Unless you hold the top section of the string you can not twist just one section. Even then when you release the section it (the entire string) will take on the twists evenly when strung again.
