I really have to comment on the ethality of the Wensel Woodsman broadhead, my arrow went thru the upper left shoulder and out the bottom right of the rib cage. When I started bowhunting I used Steelforce BH and harvested 4 animals my first year, an axis doe, spike buck, and a doe and her fawn from a passthru, the blood trail from the Steel Force was shotty, it was not an easy track, small traces of blood and I would say all animals from the steelforce where recoverd 40 to 50 yards from the shot. But the WW left 2 holes in this deer and when I was caping him out I was able to fit both my thumbs in the entrance and exit wounds. The blood trail looked like the aftermath from a visit with a jihadist but my deer did not loose his head! Sorry poor joke but he only went 15 yards.

BowBuddy,
Congratulations on your harvest. And thanks for telling the complete story. I can identify with it. I've found Steelforce broadheads to be rather fragile in addition to producing less than desirable bloodtrails. You even have my mouth watering from your description of the evening meal with the backstrap!
