Got in my stand early Friday morning a great morning to be out. About 8:00 I looked to my right and there were the bigest set of antlers that I have seen coming my way. This buck was great he walked right in front of me gave me the best shot I could hope for. I let my arrow fly and it flew right were it was supose to go and bounsed back about 6 feet. I had used the same arrow I had shot a spike with two weeks before and it must have craked next to the broad head and on release the arrow head poped off. The arrow arrived without an arrow head. When the deer was coming in I had prayed that my arrow would fly true and it did, it just did not have the bussiness end on it sometimes you just gota see the houmor in things. I dont think he will be back but I will look for him and maybe he wont be so lucky the next time.

That sux man, but there's lot's of ways to look at it.
Look at it this way - you were lucky it didn't cause you some injury,
and ruin what's left of your hunting season.
He'll come back after a while.

Well I'll say!!!! Yes I'm lmao. one for the deer 0 for widdler. well my hunt got cancelled on the Watson ranch,pipe line people decided it was time to put another pipe line across the ranch in the next couple of weeks. So if you need a experienced hunter to help you widdler I'm available.
