At What Age...

At What Age do you start teaching little ones how to shoot a bow? I watched Chunky's doe video and then checked out some of his daddy-daughter hunting videos and got excited about the future adventures my daughter and I will share. She is 2, and while that is too young to be shooting a bow she sure does love to fetch my arrows for me.



Nothing like a Daddy's Girl! She's been hanging around my lab a lot and is in that monkey-see, monkey-do phase. LOL!

Oh, and she also claims to be the owner of my bass boat. Kid is tore up with fishing too...

My ex really didn't have the mothering gene, so I got spend as much time as I wanted with the girls and really raise them up. They were going to deer leases as soon as they could walk. They started hunting around age 8 or 9, but I think that all depends on the individual kid.

I wish you the best of luck and am really jealous of the road ahead of you.

Mine is 2 1/2. Her first dove hunt was a blast for both of us. She also owns my boat now and we share the truck!!
