Got a Doe

Well friends after a day of hurricane type winds and nothing moving the wind finally laid down and the deer came out. I took a doe with a near perfect shot. It was 13 or 14 yards. She went about 25 yards after the shot. Chunky's on the scoreboard. Got it on video as well. Now it is windy and raining again.

Congrats!
I just spent 4 days at our lease near Ballinger and the wind howled the entire time we were there. I saw only 6 deer in the 4 days. One doe, 3 fawns, and 2 small bucks. It was 90+* all but one day. One of the bucks was a nice 10 pt but he was really young so I let him walk. He was only about 13-14" wide and tine length was not very good yet except that his brow tines were about 7" long.

Hope it cools off and calms down a little before we go back.
