Got skunked!

Saw one deer all weekend. She came in as I was putting my arrow in quiver. Came to about 21 yards right at me. Thought I would get a shot then the wind switched and that was it. Did nail two squarels today after the cows showed up. Good practice. Glade I caries judo points for stumping on way back to camp.

Hope to get out in a few weeks. Will have hole place to myself cause I'm off weekdays rest the month. I got on this place last second and didn't set any stands up just using what's left. So the guy that I hunted with this weekend said I was more then welcome to hunt his and his wife's stand. I also picked up a stand and climbing sticks. There are actually trees in lavaca county CRAZY!
