Wood arrow question. Anyone ever seal after stain and dipping the crest and seal again?

I seal, crest and then seal over the crest to prevent rest burn..

going to give it a try, looks good so far... except for these crooked arzse german pine arrows!!

I generally stain then straighten my arrows followed by crown dip and crest. I then put two coats of finish on them and allow them to dry. Then I straighten them one more time and add another coat of finish and I am done. I find that they stay straighter rhat way and the crown dip and crest never smear.

yeah I need to figure out that straighten part.. :/
