How do you keep up with your tab?

I was wondering ways people keep up with their tabs. I use the saunders pak tab and I have a history of loosing my tabs.. so bad that last year I bought 4. I kept one in my hunting pack, one in my truck, and one with my bow(I tried to keep it there) and I know where one of those are. I seem to lose them in transport. I'm thinking about tying some sort of lanyard on it so I can tie it to my bow when Im not shooting it.

I stick an arrow through the loop before I put it on my quiver.

I have a small bag on my belt or a pocket on every quiver I use, when the tab isn't on my finger it is in the bag or the pocket.. That said I always carry an extra broken in tab in my pack for hunting..

I have been wondering this same thing. I am afraid that I will lose the tab or forget it while I'm hunting.
That's one thing about a glove, it stays strapped to your arm, it's just that I shoot better with the tab.

I've lost a few too, but I know I can take a shot or two with bare fingers if I have to - if I lose my tab on the way to the stand.

In 47 years of shooting with a tab, I've never lost. I've worn them out, but never lost one.

When my tab is not in use, it and it's spare hangs on my bow rack which you can see in the photo below. On the way to out the door to get in my truck to go bowhunting, my tabs are in my pant's pocket. Sitting in a ground blind, one tab is on my finger while the spare is still in my pant's pocket.

                I've never lost one.

When I am transporting is with my hunting gear I clip it in with an arrow in my quiver.
If I don't want it in the shooting position (for whatever reason) while hunting, I flip it around to the back side of my hand. When target shooting, and not wearing it, I have a clip on my target quiver for it.

When did you switch to a tab, Deb? I though you preferred a glove?

I also shoot the pak-Tab. For everyday use i carry my side quiver in my truck and EVERY time I am done shooting the tab goes from my hand to the pocket on that quiver. When I am hunting I do it one of 2 ways:

                        1. As Draco stated by sliding it over an arrow on my bow quiver, or

                        2. I use a Great northern Quick Detach bow quiver and I sometimes put the tab between the bow and quiver hood on the post that attaches the quiver to the bow.

I have two in Africa, one in Kansas, one in Alaska, a least a dozen laying around Texas. LOL.

I use a palm tab, it has a elastic strap, it stays attached to my arm when not in my hand. When it is not attached to me, it is with my arm guard in my bow case or fanny pack....or on the ground somewhere.

I have three Bateman tabs shot in and ready to go.

                              1. Pocket of quiver
                              2. Backup in truck
                              3. Backup #2 in backpack.
