I Got Me A Lesson Today

I went down to Waco to shoot with Javi today and found out more about shooting traditional archery than I knew existed. I had a great time learned a lot about arrows, FOC, alignment,drawing and release of the shot.

It was a blast and anyone wants to know how to shoot traditional or just to learn more about archery, I would highly recommend that you spend some quality time with Mike Javi Cooper.

I even came home with a sweet Black Hills II longbow, like I needed another bow.

It'll be a smart move and you'll come away pretty excited! I drove home for an hour and a half, then i got out of my truck and started shooting some more. Im afraid to go to bed, if I sleep, I might lose that feeling LOL

Thanks Ron, I really enjoyed the visit and the lunch.. You did very well and I hope you picked up a couple of pointers, although you were shooting pretty darn good to begin with..

As for the bow, I figure that you should own any bow that you can pick up cold and hit the middle of the spot at 20 yards with… not once but twice in a row.. Especially since it wasn’t even tuned to your arrows.. I hope you enjoy that BHII, it’s a good shooting bow as you know and seemed to be a part of you instantly..

Deb, I didn’t sell Ron my custom bow (that one stays here) and Bob is making me another already..
