    Form problem?

I shoot three under and use the gap method.

I always have to aim to the left with the tip of the arrow to hit my attended point of aim?

I have to aim progessivly farther to the left the farther the distance to hit my point of aim!

Is this normal or should windage remain the same at all distances and fall directly down the end of the arrow for all distances?

Sounds like you have a dominant eye problem. If you shoot with both eyes open, your eyes are triangulating with the dominant eye. The best cure is to switch hands to pull the bow and hold the bow.

I will try to close one eye and see what happens

Are you aiming left because otherwise the arrow hits to the right of the intended target? That's what's been happening to me for the past few months, and I think it's because my bow arm moves slightly down and to the right upon release. I noticed that when I use more back tension on my drawing arm, and then try to squeeze my shoulder blades together so that there is some back tension on the bow arm to keep it from moving right, that windage is usually right in line. Anyway, just a thought. If you figure yours out, please post on here.

Are you absolutely sure the arrows are not too stiff?

How you grip the bow can play a role in your point of impact. I don't gap shoot, but do align my windage based on my arrow shaft. When I get to hitting right or left of my point of aim it is because I'm not gripping the bow 100% correctly.

                That was my first thought.

(1.) Re-check your eyes to make sure of your dominant eye Sounds like you are not sure. (2.) You may be "torquing" your bow ... hold the bow in the web of your hand and don't grip it tightly. Open your hand slightly as you hold the draw. (3.) Keep the same anchor point with each shot, (4.) Follow through by holding your stance for a second or two after the arrow leaves your bow.

If this has been a problem from the start, then I am leaning towards your arrows don't fit your bow. If this is something that has just started or shows up from time to time it is form. I tend to allow my bowarm to kinda spring to the left upon release sometimes which make me shoot left. I also pluck my release, drop my bow arm etc.,etc. so it is an ongoing thing for me keeping my form where it needs to be. I'm thinking your problem is going to be with your arrows though. You can try a heavier point and see what happens.

Positive that I am right eye dominant!
I will keep trying to figure it out! Thanks for the advice

                        Update

I read some stuff on tradgang and tried it out today with great results.

I have already paper tuned my arrows so I know that is not it. I did an eye dominace test again and determined that I am still right eye dominant! Lol

I worked on my anchor point( keeping it consistent) I anchor with tip of my middle finger at the corner of my mouth and my thumb knuckle falling across my cheek bone.

I also moved my tab off my arrow so that no contact is made.

I worked on keeping my draw arm up making a big T. I also tried to use my back squeezing my shoulders together to release.

I also kept both eyes open while shooting thought that I was but noticed that I have been closing my
                        Left eye.

Results=shooting where I am looking with the tip of the arrow!

Thanks for the tips and keep them comin!

I believe it is probably a spine problem. Work with several point weights and see if improbements come. Bob
