    strings

I have been making my own flemish strings using bcy 452x and padding the loops with dacron. Works great, extremely low stretch and fast shoot in time. But I was wondering if anyone out there has used any of the bcy trophy it is suppose to be the same as the 452x but stronger and quieter. But you know what they say, suppose to and does are two different things.

No, but I have been working with the D-10 and it is looking very good.. not into the thin string thing though, 14 strand is thin enough for me.. although I did make a pretty good looking 15 strand 3 braid a couple of weeks ago..

I have been using 20 strands of the 452x and 10 of the b50 and .21 halo for center serving

        Brent,
The 452X is a very good material... The trphy has a slightly larger diamter which makes it less prone to stretch... I would stick with the 452X..

By the way I don't pad a dyneema string with dacron as the dyneema will eventually cut through the dacron. I pad with a softer material... I use 8125 for my padding material on all my small diameter strings.m You could use some 452X and use maybe 12 strands of it as (6 per lay on a 2 lay string) your padding. I think you will find it gives you even better performance overall as well!
