First off this is not me but some guy on Impossible Shots for todays show. But this looks like a kids traditional bow that he is drawn back with in the picture, simply because there is no string serving where the arrow is nocked. I guess we will have to watch this to see what poundage bow and arrow weight he is shooting with.

We're in Hollywood of all places for an ALL-NEW SHOW tonight, featuring one of the great Impossible Shots ever. Picture Cisko Kid slinging an arrow - yes, an arrow - at a target 50 yards away. Then imagine him - in the same motion - drawing his six-shooter, firing, and the bullet beating the arrow to the target.
No Hollywood stunts here - the shooting is as real and as amazing as it gets on Impossible Shots, 2 & 10:30 ET on Outdoor Channel.

Some of the older compounds used all cable without a serving. I have no idea what he is shooting.

Not sure what kind of bow he's shooting, but that guy is smoking fast with a pistola. I shoot speed plates/steel challenge as my other hobby and would love to have a first shot as fast as his thats on target. Granted it's a totally different ball game, but still. I'll be watching this one for sure.

Watched it this afternoon. They didn't saw what type of bow it was, but it looks identical to my first compound bow as a kid. It was an old bear with nylon coated steel cable that ran around both plastic cams. Mine was about a 30 pound bow, had a rubber grip, shot off the shelf, no place for sights or stabilizer or rest. He is using a kid's bow, but it it a compound.
