    New Toelke chinook recurve arrived

I got my new recurve in! It is a 58" 55#@ 30" Toelke chinook XX. This bow is beautiful and it shoots like a bullet. It only took two weeks to get it. I got in Saturday from the Cowtown shoot and it was here. When I figure out how to post pics, I will show it off on here. I have not gotten to shoot it much yet due to waking up yesterday with kidney stones. I think I am finally over that so I will be trying it out some more.

Kidney stones?! Oh no! Congrats on the new bow. Are you going to be shooting it at KC's tomorrow? Sorry I did not get to visit with you much at Cowtown, but wasn't it a blast? See ya tomorrow.

        Deb,

I will be there tomorrow evening. I passed the stone earlier today so I feel great now. Yes, I thought the shoot was great Saturday.

        Trad"Doc",

I enjoyed meeting and talking with you too. Hope to meet up with you again in the near future.

Thank you sir. By the way, great shooting this weekend at Cowtown. I did not get to meet you but would have liked to. I would have liked to watch you shoot too. Sounds like I could learn a thing or two from you.

            take care

Congratulations on your new bow Dave. If you can shot that thing as good as you shoot the longbow, you'll be a champion before you know it.

Sorry to hear about those kidney stones, I've been there and done that six times and if I never experience it again, that'll be fine with me

                Post up those pics!

Congrats on the new weapon - I've never seen one in person but from loooking at the Montana Bows website he makes some beautiful recurves

I would rather pass a parked cop at 40 mph over the limit than a kidney stone. Glad yer fellin better.

Yep, the Chinook is a real nice shooter. Probably the quietest recurve I have ever shot. Used to own one but like all those before, sold it. BEst of luck with it.

I'm kinda dumb on uploading pics. If I download that tapatalk or whatever it's called, can I do it from my iphone easier? Don't know if the pics would be good or not. I can use a digital camera but I don't really trust photobucket for sharing pics. I've heard people having problems after using that. What would be the easiest? I want to post them.

Dan Toelke even called me yesterday evening to ask how I liked the bow and if it met my expectations. First class guy in my book!
