    bow rack question

im going to build a bow rack and i was wondering if hanging recurves/longbows vertically will have a tendency to twist the limbs versus a horizontal rack?

Quite a few people hang their unstrung bows vertically.

All of our bows are strung and hung vertically on the wall.

I can't post a pic for you because I don't have a camera. They are hung on the wall that goes up the stairs. Just nails in the wall following the line of the stairs. Looks good and is mighty handy as the bows are the first thing we reach for when we get up and come downstairs. Quivers hang between the bows. When you get a selfbow, it will have to be unstrung, but your laminated bows will be ok strung.
