what a difference a good string makes.....

ok so i bought myself a samick sage for as a birthday present to myself.. ordered it monday, got it yesterday, set it up with the string that came with it. im not sure what the string material that the string that is supplied with it is, but those strings are junk. had it set to the brace that ive seen most people set it at 8 1/4", silenced the bow still made noise. luckily i had a string that Trad 'doc' had sent me. swapped strings, as soon as i strung the bow it was in brace, didnt have to add any twists. went out and shot the bow its quieter and it almost seemed like the arrow was hitting the target harder, im not sure though because my target is light as hell and moves alot anyways. now i just need to pretty it up a little w/ some crested arrows, a new quiver, and maybe even some antler burr limb bolts.. id say i am very pleased with this bow w/ the "new" string.

Yep - the quality, and performance of a bow (Any Bow) is very dependent on, and limited to both the quality of the string, and also the quality of the arrows.

I just got the same bow. I'm still very new at this but the string seems sub-par. What string would you suggest? Anything made from FastFlight?
