New bow almost here

I ordered a new bow from Bob Sarrel. It is his newest version of recurve, the short handled one. Anyone here who has been to Bobs in the last few months has had to see this new bow he has come up with. I shot it only a few times and ordered one.

Anyway, this was back around August or so. I called him yesterday and he said it was getting close. The color theme mimicks a coral snake with a black overlay on top of yellow diamond wood followed by stripes of black yellow and red to the end of the handle. The limbs are gonna be mrytle wood I believe with red limb tips.

I am so excited to see the bow, I can't hardley wait. It will be a bit flashy I suppose for a hunting bow, but it is sure to turn some heads. I named it accordingly, The Breathtaker. Will post pics as soon as I get it.

All this is great news. m'gobo, I think I saw your bow in the early stages of it's creation-thats gonna be HOT! Jo, when will yours be done and when are you gonna come over and shoot?

I got to find out from Bob on when the anticipated date of completion for my bow. I still have a few weeks to go on my deer season so it will probably be Feb. before things slow down. I will be in touch and plan a weekend to do some shooting with you.

Reading the posts from y'all who saw it makes me that much more anxious. I have shot alot of different recurves over the years and this model is by far the best. I am really looking forward to gettin it in the woods.

Jo, you will not be disappointed with your bow. I have shot several of Bobs bows mostly at his shop and I shoot very good groups out of all of them.
