    Traditional Recurve string

Is there anywhere in the Houston area to get a recurve strung? A friend of mine bought a Sierra Model X 18 (AMO standard) recurve for her son. It is marked showing it needs a 52" string, pulls at 45lbs and has another number 7120777 on the bow???? Thanks for the help.

Go with Doug.... He makes great strings.

BTW Doug - I need two news ones for my Orion. I will send you the info, and can pick them up at Cadena if that will be ok.

If it said that it was 52" it really needs about a 48" string as most recurves take a 4" shorter string than the amo.
I think but Ol Man will know for sure.

Another vote for Ol Man. Doug builds a great bowstring.
