Due to an medical emergency with the orthopaedic surgeon my surgery has been rescheduled for Friday evening.. I am just ready to get this deal rolling and get healed up and haired over.

My prayers are with Dr. Connor that his medical emergency ends well.

Uggghhhh, not sure what to say. If that was your Dr. that is going to do your surgery, I hope it wasn't him personally that was having the emergency. Anyway, prayers up for all involved!

Terry, that sounds like us.

Our son was to be born 10/10 by planned ceasarian due to breech positioning. Martha checked into the hospital the night before and I got there at 7:00 am for delivery to find out the Doctor (doing the delivery) ran his Jaguar into a Mercedes on his way to the hospital. Our son's birthday was postponed to 10/11.

Sorry for your anxiety. Hope all works out well and let me know what the recovery is like.

Man, that can be frustrating. You've planned all that time to have it done one day, wanting to just get it over with, and it's postponed. At least it's just one day. Hope all's well with the doc and your surgery and recovery go well.

Yep they postponed my surg until 5:30 pm on friday. My wife even though she is an RN is dreading it. No solid food from midnight until 5:30 pm when they put me under. She knows I will be anxious, hungry and pizzed off. Not a good scenario for a fatboy like me to be in. I am sure I will put the spoon down at 11:59 pm.

Thats funny Gene and I will take that into consideration.. The new surgeon is hispanic (Dr. Garza) and a buddy of mine and I were talking about the situation. My buddy (Johnny Leija) said well look on the bright side. I said what bright side? He said this will be the first time you have ever been cut by a Mexican that you didn't goo to jail over. I thought that was funny coming from a hispanic yet brutally honest. No direspect of course.
