Cool story. I'm glad you were able to connect on a nice mule deer and that you had a great time to boot!

Dang Kirby! You are having one of those banner years. Get it while you can and enjoy every minute of it.

          Congrats,

Thanks Bisch, It has been better than expected so far. Now if the swelling in my hand will go away so I can grip my bow I hope to get out and get some does and maybe a pig or 2.

Way to go Kirby on your trophy Muley. Quite a few years back I seen the same thing outside of Sanderson while hunting the Couch ranch. We drove up on a Mule deer buck and he hunkered down under a small cedar thinking the same thing, that he was "invisible" He was certain he had disappeared! nice write up and enjoyed the hunt!

Congrats on a toad! I like your idea for making some shade using a tarp and your lowboy....

thinking of advancing that idea into an actual tent. It worked out really good for shade and had there been rain it really would have come in handy

Great story. One day I am going to have to go on a trip like this. I was supposed to go this year but didn't make it.
