    My newest style :P

Yes, I changed styles once again. Now instead of point on aim 3 fingers under. Im shooting 3 fingers under instinctive focusing on my spot. Anyone else shoot 3 fingers under and instinctive? I had only heard of split finger instinctive

It works very well for me. Do you cant your bow? How do your draw?

I mean do you hold your bow straight up and down then pull it back or do you start holding your bow down by your knee, Like you are carring a tackle box? I shoot Howard Hill style, where we draw from the hip and cant the bow.

I lift my bow up first. Do you think canting will be better then straight up with this style? maybe get the arrow out of my vision better. Right now its just blurry

I have no way of knowng what will work best for you. But as you are trying different things, try this; hold your bow down by your side like you would a tackle box. Draw slow and smooth, pushing the bow away from you with your left hand and drawing diagonal (sp?) across the chest with the bow arm raising slightly, I said slightly faster than the drawing arm. I always cant my bow. Three Rivers has the book, it is hard to describe like this.

That's what they call a swing draw...drawing from the hip and moving up to anchor. I shoot this way but, it can be very distracting to new archers as it requires some pretty good timing to get it to come all together at the right time!

                          It does require good timing.

Okay my mom said were not leaving till 10:30 now. I tried this style and it doesnt work for me. This morning the instinctive style isnt working for me? It was working yesterday. Im better at shooting point of aim , So do you guys think I shuld keep practicing instinctive or should I practice with what im better with?

Changing things all the time can set you back. Choose a style and stick with it for awhile. Ol'Man is the one closest to you, I'd listen to him.
