    Another arrow question

I draw 55# @28" and I have been shooting Gold Tip's 55/75 with 100 grain inserts and 125 grain broad heads for a while now. I was thinking about going with some Carbon Express Heritage shafts mainly because I cant find the gold tips with helical fletching. I have two questions.

1st Is the helical flethcing going to improve arrow flight and stability notable? My current set up is flying pretty good but could be a little better.

2nd If i switch should I go with the Heritage 150's or 250's?

helicals will improve stability but on some fixed blades may cause your arrows to walk left. Know that with every 25 gr. above 100 that you add to your arrow (including insert) that it's like adding 3lbs. of bow weight. a lot of people outspine their arrows because of the 100gr brass inserts. look at CX's adjusted bow weight chart on their website.

Never heard the one about arrows veering left if you use a helical before! Have used very strong helicals for over 35 years and always found they help stabilize the arrow not hinder the flight! Guess ya can learn something new every day!
The 150's will work great with the 100 grain insert in them and the 125 grain heads. Tedstriker - he is trying to get some weight in his arrow for better penetration as well! Over-Spined shafts and the addition of heavier heads for trad is a good thing - increases FOC and gives us more KE. This should give you around the 10 grains per lb. mark in the end.
