I admit it I am one of the folks who are sharpening challenged. Well Ive never been happy with the sharpness of my broadheads although they have always done the trick. Well I bought a set of paper sharpening wheels for my bench grinder. I have sharpened about 6 knives and about a dozen broadheads. The broadheads are Tuskers and are a 51-52 Rockwell I think and they are now scary sharp- they cut hair without any pressure. I just hope my wife doesnt take a finger off with the kitchen knives. If any of you guys are looking for a sharpening system I reccomend these paper wheels.

Jeffro I'm not sure of the electric sharpener that you are talking about but this is the best sharpener Ive used besides the belt sharpeners. I didn't want to drop the coins for a belt sharpener. I got knives sharp last night that have not been sharp in years. I took broadheads that I didn't think I could get sharp and have them scary now.

I like them to, but I did take 10 stitches a few years ago when I was using Bob's. I stopped paying attention to what I was doing and was listening to him flapping his gums about something that probably didn't matter anyway when I turned the blade on a small hand ax the wrong way and it bit into the wheel. Ax blade vs. paper wheel ????? The blade won!! Blew up the wheel and jerked the ax out of my hand. Sliced my palm open pretty good.
I still love the wheels, they will sharpen just about anything with an edge, but you really need to pay attention while using them.
