Tred Barta Update

I was checking the classifieds yesterday on Stickbow.com and saw an interview with Tred Barta on his condition and the future. I was glad to hear his comments and pleased that his TV show has been extended. If you are a

Coupla weeks ago he was shooting clay pidgeons on his show. They had to make some accommodations, but he was shooting.

His condition has slowed him down but not put him out. Even though his shot selections in the past were not necessarily my cup of tea he sure has a passion for traditional archery and I think that is a good thing. In his interview he indicated he has no feeling or movement from the chest down but is determined to continue with his bow shooting and hunting. God bless him for that. There is a possiblity he will get some motor skills back in time but for now he is paralized. What a man!

I pray that he receives a full recovery.

I think that I saw a picture of him with a bear that he killed from his wheelchair. Might do a search for that.
