I put mine on sideways and leave it on sideways. A friend of mine is a seamstress and is working on an archery specific hat design. Lisa Freeman wears a soft straw that just bends back with the string.

I flip it around backwards, angle it to the side a little or wear a doo-rag.

Military style patrol cap...can get them at any surplus store and have a very short brim. I like the for all my archery shooting...if only I could find them big enough for my melon

I just had a conversation with tradcat at Vanderpool this weekend about this. I have really sensitive eyes to the sun and it kills me shooting into the sun or even when it is really bright out. I always have to turn my hat around and I hate it. I can't get the hang of shooting with sunglasses on either. Deb, your friend will make a killing if she can come up with something for this.

I always wondered how Lisa did this and now I know. Thanks Deb!

I flip mine around backwards, and speaking of sunglasses . . . I wear glasses full time, and one of my 'checklist' items when I reach anchor is that the string is pushing up against my glasses - kinda a PITA, but works
