How good are Bob Sarrels longbows?

I bought my first traditional and first Sarrels bow, a black hills II, from bob last Saturday. I have had it for one week and have shot it every day. I absolutely love it. As everyone else said great bows from a great guy!

bought one in december, smooth quiet and fast. I had a Chek Mate, which was a good bow, but Sarrels bow is much better. You can choose from a multitude of woods which is fun. Search the forum, lots of pics! Have fun!

Got one of his Superstitions a year ago and just ordered a Wildcat to match. I've said it before "Bobs bows are nice to look and better to hold, once ya try one consider it sold". Cant go wrong with his bows, go by his place and shoot'em before ya decide, ya wont be disapointed.

I have tried others and I truly believe Bob's are the best!!!!!!I may be a tradpole but I know a great bow when I shoot one. Bob IS the reason I stayed with the longbow. When I went by Bob's one day, I was pretty frustrated with another longbow by a different bowyer that I had tried. I was very frustrated and conceded that if I stuck with trad, it would have to be a recurve.

I am so glad I made that trip that day. I picked up my first of many to come from Bob and have been extremely satisfied. It will be the best thing you could ever do especially if you are new to trad. he will get you set up and you will be shooting straight in no time.
