    Gold Tip vs Carbon Express

Which brand do you guys prefer. I'm sure they are about the same durability wise. Are the gold tip traditionals heavy enough, or is it a better idea to go with the carbon express heritage which are a little heavier in the same spine? I've looked at the 3 rivers traditional only arrow as well, but I'm not sure about trying a brand that I'm not familiar with and I think they take a different size nock from everything else I have lying around. I'm looking to get a couple shafts in different spines to bare shaft tune with. Thanks for the input.

I shoot the GT Trads, and yes they are plenty heavy.

From what I have read, and have been told by those who have shot both the CE Heritages, and the GT Trads, the CEs are a little more consistent in weight and spine than the GT Trads, and the GTs are a little more durable.

The GT weight system adapters, and weight system will work in the CE's of size 150, and up. From what I understand the 90's are smaller diameter.

i'm a big fan of the CE shafts. Unless something falls over on them they are mighty tuff to break.

The CE Heritage shafts are tough as nails. The goldtips are a fine shaft but...I think the CE Heritages are just a little more durable.

The 3 rivers arrows are made by EASTON. After 10+ yrs of target shooting I would never buy another CE arrow. Shot Gt for a few years but when they started subbing out to Mexico quality went down. I have always had the best luck with Easton and won't be straying away from them anymore.

I have both brands 250s for 60 lb bows and 55/75 for 50 to 55 lbbows. The CE are darker in Color and look a little better to me and they are tougher from what I have been able to gather from shooting. My ce 250 s weigh 640 and my gt 55/75 weigh 535 and they both shoot really well. But if I had to choose between the two if I were to order another dozen I would get heritage 150s to replace the gt 55/75.

                  Just my 2 cents
