"Quarf" is a name for a bow built from the metal handle from an old 70s~80s compound with recurve limbs that have been modified to fit the handle.
There are some very kewl "Quarf" bows out there !!

Here's one I built several years ago. It's a Darton handle and homemade limbs. It's a very fast bow but I just use it for bow fishing.

A Wharf is made so any ILF limb will fit. A Quarf has Quinn limbs that are not ILF compatable. Quinn limbs are made in Houston, priced very reasonable and perform really well.

Can you make a Quarf or a Warf out of the Kingfisher riser?
