    Help....Need Bow...Season coming...

Ok, I thought my current project bow was going to make it for season, but it's developed a hinge and I don't trust it to full draw now, which means I have to go all compound....unless...

Does anyone have a beater/beginner recurve they want to sell?

Looking for 50#@28, in a perfect world some sort of recurve longbow hybrid, but right now I'd take a beat-up Samick if I could find one! I can go cashola, or I have a browning buckmark 22pistol to trade if anyone likes that kind of thing.

I think i would love to see what Chunky might "find" in his hunting room. If you come across a Wing Thunderbird you didn't know you had, can i have first dibbs??

I have a friend that builds bows and has a few laying around. Would you be into something like that? They are usually about 60" and he doesn't build much over 55# of draw.

Well it's obviously not a perfect world.....here is what I have.

I have a bow Chris Brown gave me. It is made by American Archery Company....it is rough and needs some work, but it may be a shooter....44 lbs

I have a Bear Kodiak Hunter at 40 lbs, no string.

I have a Hoyt I bought from one of the guys here, it is in good shape but I think it is closer to 60 lbs than 50.

Everything else is much to heavy or I am not willing to part with, even temporarily.

The three bows above, I have not even strung and there is no guarentee. I would be happy to lend you one of these for the upcoming season if you would like.

It's probably a little heavy but I just finished a longbow that you could borrow for the season. It's 60# and is 60" long. It seems to be a sweet shooter.

Draco, It warms the cockles of my heart that someone would offer that to a fellow TBHer. That's why this place, and these people rock!. Unfortunately, I pulled my shoulder yesterday on a machine install, and I think 60# is going to be too much. When I'm through with my self-imposed limits, I'll call you!
                  Thanks for the offer.
