    Getting the kiddos started now!

Well I finally made contact with the local 4H/JOAD instructor and I am taking my older set of twin girls out to the first meeting/shoot this Sunday. I think I am more excited than they are. The instructor is an avid traditional bowhunter so that is kind of cool. My good friend has his daughters shooting in the 4H program (mine can't start this until next year) and they have really enjoyed it. I will try and stop beaming long enough to take some pics and post them Sunday evening!

Way to go Brian, seems like when you guys were here one seemed a little more interested in the bow than the other. Is that true?

Older set of twin girls. You mean you have more than one set, man!! Just kidding. LOL
It's a great thing to see your kids involved in what Dad loves to do. Not to mention it makes it easier when you tell Mom "but honey the kids want me to take them hunting". lol
              Good for you...

My older set will turn 8 on Monday...the younger set turned 2 in June. And after that, WE ARE DONE...I don't want to end up with a whole soccer team!!! Just kidding. I will definately get some pics up. Oh and you are correct Bob, one is definately more interested than the other but I really think once they see that arrow fly and hit the target, they will love it...both of them. I am really excited about them having some "real" instruction as well...I dang sure don't want to teach them all of my bad habits!!!
