    Arrow Selection

I currently shoot a 50# recurve. I have been shooting Beman ICS Bowhunters but they get pricey at $84/dzn.

Does anyone know of a place that I can get some arrows cheaper. Not looking for low dollar arrows but something around the $50 range.

    Thanks.

If you find "not low dollar arrows" for $50 per dozen, please let me know.

I bought shaft from Bob. You may see if he is still selling them. I think mine are Victory.

The Beemans cost about 55 bucks on Three Rivers Archery per dozen, but they still need feathers.

That would be a good idea except it looks like a 2 year old fletched the arrows if I do them.

                Brent,

Check his shipping costs.. he usually makes up the difference in the shipping rates he charges.

I have been told the Cabelas Stalker Extreme is the same shaft as the ICS Hunter...both being made by Beman to the same specs. Don't know if it is true but I shoot the Cabelas version out of my compound and love them. I build my own but shafts were around $55 last time I looked.

I'll give you my advice and it isnt very good most of the time. Dont look at any arrow guide or chart. Goto an archery shop and ask to shoot any and all arrows that they have with feathers on them. Carry the grain tip you plan on shooting and shoot that. Take all that you think that are shooting good and then shoot through paper. You will find the arrow that you need to be shooting. It will save you money in the long run. Thanks Bisch for helping me find and arrow. I finally found one and it is a discontinued arrow- bought the 6 they had there and went home and found a guy on the internet selling a dozen shafts.

Glen - I did that at OlMan's house one day with his bucket of arrows.

I think I am just going to suck it up and stick with my Bemans.
