    Broadhead question?

I shoot 2 blade heads and just spin them on and shoot. They are lined up all differnt kinds of ways. Is there a way I should be putting them. Should they be parallel or horizontal to the limbs or does it matter?

You will get mixed reviews on this question, as it becomes a matter of preference. I prefer to have mine mounted horizontally so nothing interferes with my vision when looking at the target. Some folks swear that mounting them vertically will affect flight of arrows that are marginally within spine limits. Regardless, it has always been one of those "try it and see" things. Despite which camp you end up in, I would advise you to choose which mount works best for you, and stick to it... having all of your broadheads aligned the same.

I think that if you shoot helical fletchings or vanes it makes no difference.

        Glen,

If they all hit the same spot - then it's OK! I use carbons and it is hard to get them aligned even close to the same. They fly great though. I use a 1 1/2" wide head as well! Like Tom when I use woodies I aligned them horizontal.

I align my broadheads horizontally too.

Glen, if your arrows are tuned correctly it won't make any difference. If not, it might. I just put mine on which ever way they line up.

I put mine on parallel to the limbs just so the head isn't in my sight picture, but I have been told it doesn't make a hill of beans how it is lined up.
